I’ve done the heavy lifting for you by curating a Holiday Collection of original paintings and hand painted Christmas Ornaments, in a modern color palette, that is perfect and ready for gifting.

Oil paint and cold wax medium come together to create buildable layers of texture. Just as our lives are rich in experiences, both hard and joyous, you’ll find these paintings, whether abstract or representational, have history. From coming to the US as a refugee in 1990, learning English as a 2nd language, I have spent significant amount of my life learning that my voice can be heard and the human form is perfect just the way it is. Using a modern color palette, I juxtapose bold colors with soft colors, relief line work with thick wax, and abstraction with representation. All as a means to take up space in this world.

I encourage you to look around, do the paintings make you feel anything? Good or bad? Art doesn’t always have to make you feel happy…are just has to make you feel, it has to speak to you in some way.

If you don’t see anything that moves you in the Holiday Collection, check out the print shop or other originals. I have 2 figure print options and sunflower prints. Sunflower prints were created to benefit Ukrainian soldiers who continue to fight in the war. Proceeds from prints go directly to the Ukrainian Foundation, an organization that my family works directly with to package and send supplies to the front lines.
